Ed Jennings continues to do a fine job running his Select Competition Basketball League at the Swain School every Sunday. This is the fourth season for the league which is for the kids solely focused on basketball and not playing a fall sport.
Many of the high school scene's top stars continue to polish their skills with the official start of practice (Nov. 18) now less than six weeks away and the start of the season (Dec. 6) less than two months away.
The SCBL is divided into two divisions -- the NCAA Division which is primarily for kids in grades 7-9 and the NBA Division for kids in grades 10-12.
Here are the latest scores and high scorers from Sunday's games:
NCAA Results:
Syracuse 60 Michigan 50 ... Cam Brooks 11pts
Duke 68 FSU 64 ... Justin Paz 27pts
Florida Gulf Coast 63 Arizona 54 ... Blake Jones 18pts

Player of Week
Justin Paz (class of 2019, Sacred Heart Regional School) 27pts

NBA Results:
Sixers 70 Lakers 45 ... Daiyon Barnett 16pts
OKC 71 Knicks 60 .... Sam Iorio 22pts
Raptors 64 Pacers 55 ... Isaiah Palmer & Bryce Walton (15pts each)

Player of the Week
