Some trends to follow entering another NFL Sunday

Here are some trends to consider entering today and tomorrow's games, and remember, ATS means against the spread.

NFL Vegas Trends

First time EVER Steelers and Ravens are home underdogs on the same day.

Broncos: Covered only 37% of games at home since 2006.

Bucs: Since 2005, teams are 45-77 ATS the week after playing the Saints.

Cowboys: Covered only 4 of last 20 games as a home favorite.

Cowboys: The underdog has covered 72% of Dallas games the last 4 seasons.

Dolphins: 9-32 ATS as a home favorite

Giants: On road under Caughlin: 63% ATS

Jags: Underdogs of 17 or more points: 20-6 ATS (starting in 1992)

Jets: 50-84 ATS as a home favorite

Packers: Favorite has covered 11 of last 12 Green Bay games.

Packers, Panthers: The week BEFORE a bye last season (when not playing another team before a bye): covered only 5 of 22

Rams: Jeff Fisher is 86-54 ATS (61%) in his coaching career as an underdog.

Ravens: Only 12th time since 1980 that defending Super Bowl champs are home underdogs.

Redskins: Coach Shanahan (at Washington & Denver) has covered only 5 of 26 as a home favorite.

Redskins: In both games this season, Washington’s opponent scored at least 31 points before the Redskins offense scored a single point.

Saints: Under Coach Payton have covered 10 straight at home

Seahawks: Covered 70% of home games (starting in 2005)

Seahawks: Lost 9 straight ATS the week AFTER playing San Francisco

Steelers: Big Ben 11-3 ATS off double digit loss

Steelers: Home underdogs during regular season for only 5th time since 2000.

$100 on Jacksonville to win the game pays $2,500.

$100 on Jacksonville AND Oakland (15-point underdogs to Denver) to BOTH win pays $31,200!
