GARDEN PARTY: The Allentown Public Theatre 4th annual Garden Party and House Tour, "An Indian Summer Celebration," will be 3-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5. The rain-or-shine event returns to the historic Queen Anne home and idyllic garden at 1536 W. Walnut St., Allentown. Entertainment features a reprise of theater productions and the jazz-hip hop music of Yancarlos Sanchez. The party includes a silent auction, buffet, Bloody Mary bar, and "dessert wars," with guests picking the winner from entries by local dessert chefs. Tickets are $30, advance; $35 at the door. CONCERT BENEFIT: Creaturefest 2 takes place 6 p.m.-midnight Saturday, Oct. 5 at Upper Saucon Fire Company Social Quarters, 4700 Lanark Road, Center Valley. The event benefits the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Huntington's Disease Society of America and honors late Creatures frontman Mark Smith. Featured are performances by the Ultra Kings, Consolidated Fuzz, Crop Circle, Grip Weeds, Alan Troxell and more. A cash bar and food sales will be available. A donation between $10-20 is suggested. No reservations required.
