FROM THE MORNING CALL
WASHINGTON - A shooting Monday morning at the Washington Navy Yard in the southeast quadrant of the nation's capital has forced the postponment of the Braves-Nationals game slated for tonight.
Nationals Park is approximately one mile southwest. Parking lot B at Nationals Park is being used as a meeting point for affected families to meet. Traffic in the area remained at a standstill hours after the shooting.
The teams will play a doubleheader on Tuesday, with games at 1:05 and 7:05 p.m. ET, according to the Nationals.
