A new era of Liberty High School football began with a bang on Saturday night.
Tyrique Scipio scored on a 3-yard run late in the third quarter and the Hurricanes' defense made a key stand in the final minute as first-year coach John Truby debuted with a thrilling 14-10 victory over State College in the season opener at Bethlehem Area School District Stadium.
