FROM MORNING CALL
Ed Christian has watched a lot of passes fall from the sky during his 33 seasons as the East Stroudsburg South football coach.
Few took longer to come down than the one freshman quarterback Jake Cirillo threw late in the fourth quarter Friday night.
Cirillo's 20-yard bomb — he lofted the ball extremely high into the air — ended up in the hands of senior wide receiver Ryan Nazario, and that play was the game-winner in the Cavaliers' 14-7 victory over rival Stroudsburg in a Mountain Valley Conference showdown at Ross-Stulgaitis Stadium.
