American Legion baseball showcase helps raise $1,200

The Lehigh Valley and Schuylkill-Berks Legion Baseball Showcase/All-Star Committee presented a check for $1,200 to the Lebanon VA Medical Center last week. The money was raised during the third annual showcase and all-star games run by the Lehigh Valley and Schuylkill-Berks American Legion baseball leagues.

Nearly 100 players from the two leagues participated in this year's showcase and all-star games at Reading's FirstEnergy Stadium. The money raised at the event has been donated to the Lebanon VA Medical Center each year.
