Hopefully, the rain is over because it has wreaked havoc with the schedule this week in terms of area baseball.
The BML semifinals have struggled to get completed.
There have been two nights of rainouts, and now, Game 3 of the BML semifinals between Hellertown and Easton today has now been moved to Dimmick Park in Hellertown. It's still a 4:30 p.m. start.
Evidently, the field was unplayable at Easton High School and Hackett's Park was unavailable, so the game has been moved to Hellertown.
No word yet on the location of the fourth game in the series, which would be played on Sunday. The series is currently tied at a game apiece.
The other BML series is set to resume at 2:30 today at Martins Creek where the Creekers hold a 2-0 lead in games over the MetLife Orioles.
And, finally, the Tri-County League Championship Series is down to one last game. It will be played at 7 tonight at Limeport Stadium with the Limeport Bulls and Gabelsville Owls knotted at two games apiece in the best-of-five.
