Jonathan Pettibone had a huge smile on his face as he was packing his bags after hearing the news of his first promotion to the majors this afternoon.

Pettibone, the Phillies No. 4 prospect according to Baseball America, will join the Phillies rotation in place of John Lannan, who was placed on the disabled list on Thursday.
