Friday softball scoreboard: Nazareth, Notre Dame post big wins

We had eight games in the LVC and Colonial League on Friday and most went as expected.

The biggest wins were registered by Nazareth in the LVC and Notre Dame in the Colonial.

Here's a look back:

LVC

Northampton 10, Easton 0 -- Konkrete Kids go to 16-0 and Marly Laubach gets her third one-hitter and ninth shutout.

Nazareth 8, Liberty 7 -- Blue Eagles rallied with three in the top of the seventh.

Parkland 8, Allen 0 -- Catcher Jordy Augustus drives in fourth, Courtney Miller goes 3-for-3.

Whitehall 8, CCHS 1 -- Madison Kelly and Lauren Mortimer combine for six hits and four RBIs.

Freedom 11, Dieruff 0 -- Patriots hold the LVC wild-card slot at the moment.

COLONIAL

Bangor 4, Northern Lehigh 3 -- Slaters closing in on first district berth since 2008.

Palisades 11, Salisbury 1 -- Freshman Karlee Krchnavi pitched a two-hitter and had two hits.

Notre Dame 4, Catasauqua 1 -- Defense is starting to catch up with the Roughies who had four errors in this one.
