He’ll be joined in the booth by Boomer Esiason. Mark Malone and James Lofton will serve as sideline reporters and Jim Gray will host the pre, post, and halftime shows. Tom Brady and Larry Fitzgerald will join Gray for part of the pregame and the halftime coverage. Clay Matthews Joins CBS for Super Bowl- CBS Sports reported today that Packers linebacker Clay Matthews will join the network as a guest analyst during the network’s pre-game coverage of Super Bowl XLVII. Matthews will join the Super Bowl Today crew of James Brown, Dan Marino, Bill Cowher, Shannon Sharpe and Boomer Esiason. Wednesday Night NHL Most-Watched in History of NBC Sports Network- NBC Sports announced today that last night’s Wednesday Night Rivalry match-up on the NBC Sports Network between the Bruins and Rangers had an audience of 956,000 viewers, making it the most-watched NHL regular-season game in the network’s history. The previous record was set on opening night last season when 874,000 viewers tuned in to see the Boston Bruins take on the Philadelphia Flyers. CBS Has a Pair of College Basketball Games this Weekend- CBS Sports will shift its focus to college basketball this weekend. Saturday at 1:00p.m. ET Ian Eagle and Clark Kellogg will call Maryland at Duke. Sunday at 1:00p.m. ET Michigan State travels to Indiana wil Kevin Harlan and Greg Anthony on the call. Golf Channel Announces New Morning Drive Format, Show Hosts- The Golf Channel today announced that its morning show, Morning Drive, will have a new format and new talent beginning on February 4th. The program will expand to seven days a week and analyst Charlie Rymer will join Morning Drive co-hosts Gary Williams, Damon Hack and Holly Sonders.
