http://sportsmediajournal.com/ Sunday Night Football Gives NBC Highest Rating in Seven Years- NBC Sports reports that through nine weeks, the ratings for Sunday Night Football is the highest in the seven years the series has been on the network. The average rating of 12.9 is the highest primetime number if 13 years. The average audience of 21.2 million viewers is on pace with 2011. NFL Network Replays- NFL Network (NFLN) will once again replay three games from last week’s action. Tonight at 8:00p.m. ET NFLN will re-play the Steelers at Giants. At 9:30p.m. ET the Dolphins at Colts will be shown again. Tomorrow at 9:00p.m. ET NFLN will re-air the Cowboys at Falcons. NFL Turning Point Tomorrow of NBCSN- Tomorrow’s edition of NFL Turning Point on NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) will look at the deciding plays from Steelers/Giants, Dolphins/Colts, and Vikings/Seahawks. Dan Patrick hosts the program which starts tomorrow night at 10:00p.m. ET. NBCSN has Navy-Marine Corps Classic and Carrier Classic- The NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) will have coverage of college basketball’s opening games with the Navy-Marine Corps Classic and the Carrier Classic this Friday. Tom Hammond, Stan Van Gundy, and Carolyn Manno will call the Navy-Marine Corps Classic featuring Georgetown and Florida at 9:00p.m. ET. Dave Strader and Swin Cash will call the women’s game at the Carrier Classic between Ohio State and Notre Dame at 4:00p.m. ET. Strader will be joined by Donny Marshall for the men’s game between Ohio State and Marquette at 7:00p.m. ET. Lewis Johnson will serve as sideline reporter for both games. ESPN NBA Twinbill Wednesday- ESPN will have an NBA double header tomorrow night. Game one tips-off at 8:00p.m. as the Philadelphia 76ers take on the New Orleans Hornets with Dave Pasch and Hubie Brown have the call. At 10:30p.m. ET Mike Breen, Jeff Van Gundy, and Heather Cox call the San Antonio Spurs at Los Angeles Clippers. Second to Last NASCAR Races This Weekend from Phoenix- There are only two races left to the NASCAR season with the Nationwide and Sprint Cup races moving to Phoenix this weekend. Saturday’s Nationwide Series race begins at 3:30p.m.ET with the Sprint Cup race Sunday beginning at 2:00p.m. ET. Anchors Allen Bestwick (Sprint Cup) and Marty Reid (Nationwide) will be joined by analysts Dale Jarrett and Andy Petree. ESPNU College Football Series this Week- ESPNU All Access airs tonight at 7:00p.m. ET with inside access to the officials in the SEC working last week’s Tennessee at South Carolina game. At 7:30p.m. ET ESPNU Road Trip heads to Minnesota for the battle last week between the Golden Gophers and Michigan.
