Former Nazareth student struck by car, killed in West Chester

Joseph M. Pietroforte, who graduated from Nazareth Area High School in 2010, was struck by the car at 5:18 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of S. Bolmar Street, according to West Goshen police. West Chester University officials said Pietroforte, 21, was a third-year student studying criminal justice. They said he was walking to work at a nearby trucking company when he was struck.
