Strong Overnight Ratings for NFL on CBS Sunday- CBS Sports reports that yesterday’s double header NFL action (Houston/Denver, Pittsburgh/Oakland) earned an overnight rating of 14.9, up 10% from last year’s contest between Green Bay and Denver. The network’s early regional coverage averaged a rating of 11.4, up 24% from 2011.
CBS Sets SEC Match-up for October 6th- CBS Sports today announced that the SEC game between LSU and Florida will be its SEC Game of the Week for Saturday, October 6th. Kick-off is 3:30p.m. with Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson, and Tracy Wolfson.
ESPNU Goes Behind-the-Scenes with Oklahoma State and Oregon- Tomorrow ESPNU will get inside access to two college football programs with ESPNU All-Access: Oklahoma State and ESPNU Road Trip at Eugene, Oregon. ESPNU All-Access: Oklahoma State airs at 6 p.m. while ESPNU Road Trip looks at this past wekkend’s match-up between Oregon and Arizona at 6:30p.m. ET.
ESPN and ESPN2 has Baseball Action Wednesday- During this final week of the Major League Baseball season ESPN and ESPN2 will each air a game Wednesday Night. Dave O’Brien, John Kruk and Pedro Gomez have the coverage on ESPN2 of the Nationals at Phillies beginning at 7:00p.m. ET. At 8:00p.m. ET on ESPN Sean McDonough, Aaron Boone, Rick Sutcliffe and Tim Kurkjian will have the call as the Rangers host the A’s.
NASCAR Moves to Delaware- ESPN will have this weekend’s NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup series races from Dover International Speedway. Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race begins at 3 p.m. with Sunday’s Spring Cup race beginning at 1:00p.m. ET. Allen Bestwick (Sprint Cup) and Marty Reid (Nationwide) will call the races with analysts Dale Jarrett and Andy Petree.
