Must have been some game in the Poconos on Monday night

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/ FROM KEITH GROLLER The NFL's opening-Monday Night doubleheader was, to me, a snoozer with games well decided by midway in the fourth quarter. But they had a dandy finish at Pocono Mountain School District Stadium where three touchdowns were scored in the last 98 seconds. We had a short report in agate-type back on the weather page this morning. In case you missed it, and you probably did, East Stroudsburg North beat Pocono Mountain East 29-26. The game was rescheduled from Saturday. Trailing by 14, ES North rallied to go in front 21-20 on a Caseem Johnson scoring run with 1:38 left. PM East came right back and scored on an 8-yard TD pass from Evan Fardella to Kyle Harris with 24 seconds remaining. But the Cardinals, who I know had trouble with their kickoffs in Week 1 against Dieruff, kicked the ball to speedy Abdul Murphy who went 84 yards for a touchdown with just 12 seconds showing. A two-point conversion capped the scoring and ES North had itself a key win. ES North is now 2-0, while Pocono East fell to 1-1. Both have a short week to get ready for Week 3, but both will be heavy favorites. East travels to Lehighton and North hosts Allen. Both Lehighton and Allen are 0-2. And now here's a look at the updated MVC standings. Team MVC All PF PA ES North 1-0 2-0 56 33 ES South 1-0 2-0 38 35 Pleas.
