Two Lehigh Valley teams doing well in Youth Legion baseball regional tournaments

At the regional tournament in Kutztown, North Parkland is 2-0 and in the winners bracket final after posting wins over Red Lion (9-2) and Avon Grove (2-0). North Parkland will play Spring City in the winners bracket final tonight at 7. At the regional in Boyertown, Lower Macungie is 2-0 and also in the winners bracket final after delivering wins over Tulpehocken (12-0) and Central (3-2). Lower Mac plays Yardley-Morrisville in the winners bracket final at 4 p.m. today. And in the regional hosted by Freemansburg, Kyle Collina's team is still alive after splitting its first two games. Freemansburg defeated Aston-Media 9-4 and fell to Nanticoke 9-4. Freemansburg plays New Oxford at 4 today in an elimination game.
