Sands Casino linked to increase in DUIs by Northampton County report

In 2008, a year before the casino opened, Bethlehem had 269 drunken driving arrests, according to Uniform Crime Reporting System data. That number rose to 304 in 2009 and 300 in 2011, then spiked to 398 last year.
