Nazareth tops East Stroudsburg 5-2 in NorCo Legion semifinals

The rising Nazareth Area High School sophomore is proving he can compete with the big boys. Kline pitched a six-hitter Thursday to spark Nazareth to a 5-2 victory over East Stroudsburg in the opener of their best-of-three NorCo semifinal playoff series at Nazareth Borough Park. Nazareth, the reigning three-time NorCo champion, can wrap up the series with a victory in Game 2 at 5:30 p.m. today. Nazareth will be the visiting team but will host the game because East Stroudsburg doesn't have access to its field. Game 3, if necessary, will be played 1 p.m. Saturday at Nazareth
