Lehigh picked to win Patriot League title; Spadola named preseason offensive player of the year

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/ FROM KEITH GROLLER To no one's surprise, Lehigh was picked to win its third consecutive Patriot League football title this fall in a preseason poll of league head coaches and sports information directors who did not include their own school in their selections. Lehigh, the two-time defending champs with a 14-game winning streak against league opponents, received 11 first-place votes and accumulated 60 points in the poll. Holy Cross followed Lehigh with 46 points and one first-place vote, while Colgate, Georgetown (receiving two first-place votes), Lafayette and Bucknell completed the preseason poll order.
