Jake Tone, Ed Albertson lead Bath to first NorCo Legion Baseball League title since 1992

Tone threw a three-hit, three-RBI monkey wrench into Nazareth's chances to extend its season, leading Bath to a 9-6 win and sweep of its best-of-three NorCo championship series. Ed Albertson's three innings of scoreless relief also could not be overplayed in Bath's first NorCo championship since 1992. Bath also won league titles in 1973 and 1956. The raising of the Bob Osterstock Memorial trophy also gets Bath into the Region 2 tournament that begins Saturday in West Lawn, Pa. Bath meets Bux-Mont League champion Doylestown in the 1 p.m. game at Owls Field, the second of four first-round games on Saturday.
