Elm St., Allentown, will offer the following classes on Monday, July 9: Tai Chi Advanced, 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; Tai Chi for Beginners, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.; and Line Dancing, 1:45 to 3:15 p.m. Registration is required by calling 610-437-3700. The preliminary written test for the Lehigh Valley Senior Spelling Bee will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, at the center. Contestants, ages 55 and older, must submit their name, address, phone number, email address, birth date and check for $10 to Lehigh County Senior Center. The 12 finalists will compete in the oral round at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, at the RCN Farmerama Theater at the Great Allentown Fair.
