ESPN’s Coverage of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series

http://sportsmediajournal.com/ This weekend ESPN begins coverage of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. ESPN will televise the final 17 races of the season, including the 10 races in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Race action will be led by Alan Bestwick along with analysts Dale Jarrett and Andy Petree. Pit reporters will be Dave Burns, Jamie Little, Mike Massaro, Dr. Jerry Punch, Shannon Spake and Vince Welch. Marty Reid will be the lap-by-lap announcer for the remainder of ESPN’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race telecasts. The NASCAR Countdown pre-and post race show will be hosted by Nicole Briscoe. She will be joined by Rusty Wallace, Ray Evernham, and Brad Daugherty.
