Dan Horvath pitches Nazareth into Northampton County American Legion semis

Unfortunately, his performances on the mound are making it hard for that to be possible. Horvath allowed only two hits and Nazareth broke open a close game with an eight-run fourth inning en route to a 12-0 win Wednesday over Freemansburg in a first-round elimination game of the Northampton County American Legion playoffs. Nazareth (19-5) will host East Stroudsburg (18-5) in the first game of a semifinal best-of-three series at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Nazareth Boro Park will be the site for all three games, if necessary, because East Stroudsburg's home field is unavailable.
