A Story About a Local Station NOT Cutting Resources

http://lauranachman.wordpress.com/ FROM LAURA NACHMAN We hear that NBC10 general manager Eric Lerner announced to the newsroom Tuesday that the station will opt out of the LNS – Local News Sharing agreement with stations CBS3 and Fox 29 and will also obtain its own helicopter. For the last few years, the three local stations have participated in LNS – sharing photography resources, some staff and a chopper to save on expenses. We hear that NBC is doing the same with its stations in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles.
