http://sportsmediajournal.com/ Harper and Nationals Host Phillies on Sunday Night Baseball- ESPN will air its first Big League game featuring the Nationals’ Bryce Harper as Washington hosts Philadelphia on Sunday Night Baseball. Dan Shulman, Terry Francona, and Orel Hershiser have the action at 8:00p.m. ET. ESPN Desportes to Televise MLS Exclusively Tonight- ESPN Desportes will present its first exclusive MLS telecast – Chivas USA vs. Chicago Fire tonigt at 11:00 p.m. ET, from Carson. Richard Mendez (play-by-play), analyst Tato Noriega and sideline reporter Monica Gonzalez will call the game. MLS returns to ESPN on Saturday at 8:00p.m. ET as the LA Galaxy play the New York Red Bulls. Adrian Healey (play-by-play), Taylor Twellman (analyst), and sideline reporter Gonzalez will provide commentary. NBC Sports Network Has California Cycling Event- The NBC Sports Group will provide coverage of the 2012 Amgen Tour of California, the premier U.S.-based cycling event. Action begins next Sunday May 13th at 5:00p.m. ET. The final stage of the tour will air on NBC Sunday, May 20th at 1:00p.m. ET. Rugby Returns to Universal Sports and NBCSN- The HSBC Rugby Sevens World Series from Scotland will air this weekend on Universal Sports and NBC Sports Network (NBCSN). Coverage begins Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on Universal Sports Network, and later that night at 12:30 a.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. Both networks’ match coverage will feature play-by-play announcer Bill Seward alongside analyst Brian Hightower, former USA Sevens captain. CBS Sports Spectacular has Wide Range of Events this Weekend- The CBS Sports Spectacular will start its weekend covrage on Saturday at 1:00p.m. ET with the Professional Bull Riders 15/15 Bucking Battle from Montana. On Sunday the show will feature The Players Club at 1:00p.m. ET (taped 1/30-31/12) as 12 greats of Major League Baseball come together in Las Vegas, Nev. to compete in basketball shooting, a multi-sport skills competition (baseball hitting, football, soccer and archery), go-kart racing and poker. At 2:00p.m. ET CBS will look back at the Supercross season with the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship – Year In Review.
