http://sportsmediajournal.com/ Stanley Cup Conference Semi FInals Most Watched for NBC Sports- NBC Sports reports that the recently completed Stanley Cup Conference Semifinals were the most watched on record. The second round games were watched by an average of 1.32 million people across NBC, NBC Sports Network, and CNBC. That’s 28% higher than a year ago. Audience for the first two rounds of the playoffs averaged 1.06 million viewers, the highest audience since 1994 when cable TV data was collected. Sox/Rays on Wednesday Night Baseball- ESPN’s Wednesday Night Baseball this week will feature the Boston Red Sox at the Tampa Bay Rays. The battle between two of the favorites in the American League East will begin at 7:00p.m. ET on ESPN with Dave O’Brien, Nomar Garciaparra and Pedro Gomez on the call. Terry to Serve as Guest Analyst on NBA TV’s GameTime- NBA TV has announced that Dallas Mavericks guard Jason Terry will serve as a guest analyst on the network’s GameTime pre-game show tomorrow night. Terry will join host Rick Kamla and analysts Steve Smithand Brent Barry at 6:00 p.m. ET tomorrow. Former Scout Joins NFL Media- NFL Media has announced that former Eagles, Ravens, and Browns scout Daniel Jeremiah has joined the company. Jeremiah will be a regular contributor on NFL.com and NFL Mobile, offering an Xs-and-Os look at players, teams and trends, and will play a key role in the site’s NFL Draft coverage. In addition, he will offer analysis on NFL Network. Along with his scouting work Jeremiah had worked as a production assistant for ESPN Sunday Night Football. Emmy-Award Winning Producer Lang Joins Tennis Channel- The Tennis Channel has announced that long-time television producer Gary Lang has been appointed to the position of vice-president, production for the network. Lang’s responsibilities include day-to-day oversight of the production department’s creative content for its coverage of the Grand Slams, domestic tournament remotes and daily studio productions. Lang worked from 1994-20078 for Fox Sports. Most recently he worked for the NFL Network producing Thursday Night Football.
