Nazareth police investigating report of shots fired in the borough

Borough police responded at 10 p.m. to the area of South Spruce and East Evergreen streets for several 911 calls reporting shots fired. Upon arrival, police found two suspicious individuals and took them into custody on unrelated charges, police said. Citing the ongoing investigation, police declined to release the names of those arrested. Police searched the vicinity but did not locate a victim. However, residents called police again this afternoon to report finding blood in the area, according to police.
