LVC softball semis postponed, moved to Parkland; slightly revised LVC all-star list revealed

Softball fans can't wait for league championship week to arrive, and once it does, they have to wait some more for the rain to stop. Last year, we had five straight nights of postponements in the Lehigh Valley Conference. This year, we have at least one night. Mike Kopp, the Central Catholic athletic director who is serving as interim softball chairman in the LVC, said that tonight's LVC semifinal games, scheduled for 5 and 7 at Pates Park, have been postponed until Wednesday in the same time slots and now the games will be held at Parkland. No. 2 seed Liberty will play No. 3 Emmaus at 5 and No. 4 Bethlehem Catholic faces No. 1 Parkland at 7. The LVC title game is still slated for 7 p.m. Thursday following the Colonial championship game. And here is a slightly revised list of LVC all-stars.
