Liberty beats Emmaus 1-0 on Kondravy triple in 9th

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/ FROM KEITH GROLLER Mariah Kondravy tripled to deep right to score Lauren Epsaro from first base and Liberty beat Emmaus 1-0 in nine innings on Thursday night in the Lehigh Valley Conference softball semifinals at Parkland. The Hurricanes (17-3) advance to the LVC finals for the third straight year and will face either Bethlehem Catholic or Parkland at 7 p.m. Thursday at Pates Park. Liberty hasn't won a title since 1993, but has a great shot with senior Erin Wilson taking the ball. Wilson went all nine innings on Wednesday, allowing just four hits with nine strikeouts, two walks and a hit batsman.. Emmaus also got superb pitching from sophomores Rachel Brown, who worked the first four innings and Olivia Marcks who pitched the last five.
