LCCC is looking for a softball coach; salutes Dieruff and CCHS grads who were all-region players

Denny Barr, the former Parkland coach who has run the Lehigh-Carbon Community College program the last few years, has resigned to spend more time with family. He may still be involved as an assistant coach.
So, LCCC athletic director Jocelyn Beck is looking for someone to take over the program.
Here's the official job info:
LCCC is searching for a part time Head Women’s Softball Coach.
Duties: All aspects of coaching, program planning, recruiting, academic monitoring and retention of student athletes. Qualifications: Must have demonstrated success in coaching softball at the collegiate or High school level. Bachelor’s degree preferred. The review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. And in baseball, Rocky Ferrier of Pennridge received Region XIX honors.
