Former Easton star is headed to NCAA tournament, but with injury

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/ FROM KEITH GROLLER Sara Rasley, The Morning Call's co-player of the year last season, is headed to the NCAA Division I softball tournament with the rest of her Coastal Carolina softball team after the Chanticleers won the Big South title on Sunday.Rasley Coastal Carolina (43-18) is headed to the regional at No. 10 ranked Georgia in Athens. North Carolina and Georgia Southern round out the foursome. A total of 64 teams, including Lehigh, are in the field. However, Rasley, the freshman from Easton, may be out of action with a fractured jaw. A family member let me know that Sara was hit in the face with the ball on a pickoff attempt. She has undergone tests for a fracture. Rasley has played in 57 games with 54 starts. She has six home runs, four doubles and 18 RBIs.
