Colonial League softball semis postponed until Wednesday; everybody now playing on the same night

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/ FROM KEITH GROLLER To no one's surprise, the Colonial League softball semis have been postponed tonight and moved to Wednesday. The games are still set for Pates Park with Saucon Valley playing Palmerton at 5 and Pen Argyl facing Northwestern at 7. The winners return to Pates Park for the league championship game at 5 on Thursday. The Lehigh Valley Conference semis are also scheduled for Wednesday night, but at Parkland. Liberty plays Emmaus at 5 followed by Parkland taking on Bethlehem Catholic at 7. The winners of those games will play for the league championship at 7 Thursday night at Pates. Meanwhile, the Mountain Valley Conference has always intended to play its semis on Wednesday. The games are at two different locations at 5 p.m., Lehighton will play at No. 1 seed Pleasant Valley and Pocono Mountain East will play at No. 2 seed Stroudsburg. The title game will be played at 5 p.m. Friday at East Stroudsburg South.
