Kondravy's grand slam gives Liberty a 7-5 come-from-behind win over Emmaus

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/ FROM KEITH GROLLER Mariah Kondravy's grand slam over the center-field fence in the top of the seventh inning gave Liberty a 7-5, come-from-behind Lehigh Valley Conference win over Emmaus on Wednesday night at Patriots Park. Emmaus (9-3, 5-3 LVC) had a 5-1 lead after four innings. One of the Green Hornets runs came on a home run by Morgan Patterson in the fourth. Miryah Palko and Emily Hockman also had run-scoring doubles. But Liberty (12-1, 7-1 LVC) came back with two runs in the sixth when Katie Souders doubled and Natalie Tannasso homered. Emmaus sophomore Olivia Marcks had been strong in the pitching circle through six innings, but Kiana Keiper reached on Marcks' error to start the top of the seventh and then Alyshia Dellatore and Lauren Epsaro walked before Kondravy drove a 2-0 pitch over the temporary fence in center. Winning pitcher Erin Wilson gave up a two-out walk in the bottom of the seventh, but got Palko on a flyout to deep center to end it.
