Dick Clark, perennial New Year's Eve host, dies at age 82

Clark's agent Paul Shefrin said in a statement that he died this morning following a "massive heart attack, " according to ABC News. Clark attended Syracuse University where he was a disc jockey at the student-run radio station and was a DJ at WFIL in Philadelphia for "Dick Clark's Caravan of Music." He went on to host "American Bandstand," the yearly favorite "Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve," and the gameshow "The 10,000 Pyramid."
