Pocono Mountain West moves up to No. 5 in state rankings

With the state tournament about to begin, the state rankings are of particular interest because many of the teams on the list will meet our local squads.

Emmaus and Salisbury, who had been ranked, are done with their seasons and obviously no longer listed.

But Pocono Mountain West, fresh off its first district title, is up to No. 5 among 4A schools. The Panthers are the only District 11 team to crack a top-10.
