Moravian Historical Society to host fundraiser dinner Friday

FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES

The Moravian Historical Society will host its annual Share the Heritage dinner fundraiser Friday while simultaneously commemorating the Civil War.

The Moravian Historical Society, located at the Whitefield House at 214 East Center St., Nazareth, is one of the oldest historical societies in the state.

The dinner, being held at 6 p.m. at Historic Hotel Bethlehem, 437 Main St. in Bethlehem, is being described by organizers as an event honoring the society’s mission while paying tribute to war heroes.

The dinner and dessert selections are inspired by period recipes.

"It is very exciting to celebrate the society’s hard work with the community,” said Megan van Ravenswaay, Whitefield House director for the organization. “We look forward to this event each year as the support of our mission continues to grow."
