Middleton ineligible for Easton today in game against Lower Merion

FROM KEITH GROLLER

wrote in today's paper that it had looked like just maybe James Middleton had turned a corner in his life.

I was wrong.

Middleton will not be playing for Easton today in the Rovers' PIAA 4A quarterfinal against Lower Merion here in Reading.

Middleton, who missed the first month of the season with a suspension, has evidently been suspended again for what might be termed a violation of team policy.

Very, very sad and disappointing.

Easton, I am sure, will rally and play hard today, but its chances just grew slimmer.

Forget winning the game. It's all about saving lives here and following the right path.

Evidently James has hit another crossroad.
