ESPN Preps for Coverage of Euro 2012

ESPN has unveiled its plans to cover this summer’s UEFA European Football Championship 2012. ESPN plans over 200 hours of coverage beginning on June 8th and ending on July 1st from Poland and the Ukraine.

ESPN will televise all 31 matches in high definition. The matches will also be available on ESPN Desportes and ESPN3.

ESPN match telecasts for the UEFA European Football Championship will include pregame, halftime and postgame studio segments. The pregame segments will include the teams walking onto the pitch, the national anthems and ceremonial handshakes – all symbolic traditions of signature international soccer competitions.
