NBC Set for Hockey Day In America

For the second year in a row NBC Sports will be looking at the impact of hockey on America in its Hockey Day in America production this Sunday, February 19th.

The network will weave in stories of hockey in the U.S. within four NHL telecasts over the period of nine hours.

NBC kicks-off coverage at 12:00p.m. ET with regional action featuring the Penguins at Sabres (Gord Miller and Ray Ferraro on the call), Sharks at Red Wings (Ken Daniels and Darren Pang) or Blues at Blackhawks (Dave Strader and Brian Engblom)

NBC’s lead crew of Mike Emrick, Eddie Olczyk and Pierre McGuire will have the national call of the Bruins at Wild at 3:00p.m. ET.

The day will end on the NBC Sports Network Sunday night at 6:00p.m. John Forslund and Andy Brickley call the Devils at the Canadiens.
