Minivan flips on Route 33 in Bushkill Township, injuring two - UPDATE

Two Saylorsburg, Pa., residents were injured when their minivan overturned about 5:20 this evening on Route 33 in Bushkill Township, police say.

Dominick Callo, 76, was driving north on Route 33 and overcorrected when changing lanes, Pennsylvania State Police say. The van was out of control for about a tenth of a mile before leaving the road, hitting an embankment and flipping over, police say.

Both Callo and his passenger, Benita Callo, 69, were trapped inside and had to be freed before being transported to St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill, police say.
