Pro Bowl on NBC Second Most-Watched In More Than a Decade- Despite the proclamations that few people watch, the NFL Pro Bowl once again had impressive ratings numbers. This past Sunday’s game had an average audience of 12.5 million viewers, second in the last ten years over last year’s telecast which had an audience of 13.4 million viewers. The top three local markets for the game were New Orleans (21.8 rating), Milwaukee (17.6) and Pittsburgh (17.2).

CBS Sports Network to Carry National Collegiate Hockey Conference Games- CBS Sports Network has reached an agreement with the newly formed National Collegiate Hockey Conference to televise games beginning in 2013. The network has committed to covering a minimum of 18 games, including the conference semifinal and final tournament games. The new conference, which consists of eight teams from the current WCHA and CCHA, will begin play in 2013.

CBS Sets Big Ten Wild Card Hoops Match for February 19th- CBS Sports has announced that Michigan State at Purdue will be its Big Ten game on February 19th. Tip-off will be at 1:00p.m. ET with Kevin Harlan and Clark Kelloff on the call.

NBA TV to Celebrate Black History Month with Barrier Breakers Program- NBA TV will celebrate Black History Month this February by producing 24 segments as part of its Barrier Breakers program featuring the game’s most influential pioneers and sports legends. The initial segment will feature Bill Russell. The segments will air throughout the month on the network’s signature program, GameTime.

Feherty Live to Originate from Indianapolis This Friday- The Golf Channel will be producing an episode of Feherty Live this Friday from the Indiana Repertory Theater in Indianapolis. Among David Feherty’s guests will be Fuzzy Zoeller, Steve Mariucci, and Joe Thiesmann. The program will be taped and air on the Golf Channel Saturday at 10:00p.m. ET.

NFL Fimls Road to the Super Bowl Airs This Weekend on NBC- For the 42nd year NFL Films has produced a film exploring how the two teams in the Super Bowl got to where they are in the Road to the Super Bowl. This year’s edition featuring the Giants and Patriots will sir Sunday at 12:00p.m. on NBC.

NASCAR and Turner Sports Restructure and Extend Digital Rights Agreement- NASCAR and Turner Sports have extended its digital rights partnership though 2016. NASCAR will manage business and editorial operations for NASCAR.com beginning in 2013 while Turner Sports will continue to oversee advertising sales and sponsorships.

Polian Joins SiriusXM Radio- Former Colts Vice Chairman Bill Polian has joined SiriusXM NFL Radio. Polian will make his debut on tonight on Late Hits at 8:00pm ET. He’ll host the show again on Wednesday, February 1, and Friday, February 3, and will be heard regularly on the channel throughout the year.

Nuggets/Grizzlies NBA TV Fan Night Selection- Fans have voted tomorrow night’s Denver Nuggets at Memphis Grizzlies match-up as the NBA TV Fan Nightpresentation of the week. Tip-off is at 8:00p.m. ET. Fans have until this Thursday to vote on the following games for Fan Night next week: Jazz/Pacers, Bobcats/Celtics, Kings/Timberwolves, Suns/Bucks, or Thunder/Warriors.

Big Ten Network has Coverage of National Signing Day- The Big Ten Network will be examining how the conference college football teams fared on National Signing Day with a special Wednesday afternoon. Host Mike Hall, analysts Gerry DiNardo, Howard Griffith and Chris Martin will take to the air for the 90-minute special beginning Wednesday at 4:30p.m. ET.

The three most prolific seniors from Nazareth's high-powered offense will commit to college football programs Wednesday.

As expected, quarterback Daniel Harding will sign with Akron, joining Pen Argyl running back Dylan Evans. Twin receivers Adam and Andrew Bridgeforth also will sign, with Adam going to Colgate and Andrew to Slippery Rock.
