Yesterday’s dramatic NFC Divisional Playoff game between the Saints and 49′ers earned Fox an overnight audience of 35.6 million viewers, making it the most watched NFL Divisional Playoff game since 1988.
The 20.5 rating was the highest rated Divisional Playoff game since 1996. The rating was an impressive 21% higher than last year’s Fox Saturday Divisional contest between the Packers and Falcons.
Locally the game earned a 57.2 rating in New Orleans with a 32.4 number in San Francisco.
