Chuck Dibilio has been released from the hospital, according to his Facebook page.
The former Nazareth Area High School football and basketball star suffered a stroke last Thursday night and has been at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia recovering since.
Dibilio, a record-setting freshman running back at Princeton University, wrote this on Facebook:
"Thank you for everything ... Sorry I could not text you guys to say thank you. ... Also I am out of the hospital! So I am on my way to get better so thank you for your prayers all the time."
His father, Chuck Dibilio Sr., said earlier this week that a Wednesday release date from the hospital was possible.
Chuck Dibilio proved it was a reality on his road to recovery as he hopes to return to Princeton to complete the spring semester, on a reduced workload.
