According to reports, Lehigh Valley IronPigs outfielder Brandon Moss has agreed to a minor-league deal with Oakland.
Moss, a 28-year-old left-hander, led the IronPigs with 23 home runs and 80 RBIs last season.
He was promoted to Philadelphia in mid-Sept., playing in five games with the Phillies, going 0-for-6.
Moss, who was drafted by Boston in the 2002 amateur draft, has played in 249 games in five seasons in the majors with Boston, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
He hit a combined .236 with 15 homers and 78 RBIs.
