Bushkill Township police officer scratched by papers thrown in her face

An Effort, Pa., man is accused of chucking a stack of paperwork into the face of a Bushkill Township police officer sitting in her police cruiser Monday.

Officer Crystal Happel was leaving the township police department parking lot to respond to a call when she noticed Richard Bizousky II, 49, of Rocky Mountain Drive, driving erratically as he pulled into the lot, court records state.

Happel was stopped at a stop sign when Bizousky angrily got out of his truck and approached her, documents say. Happel asked him his name, and he responded "Rick."

When Happel told him she had to respond to a different call he said, "No!," records http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifsay. As she went to pull of of the lot, he allegedly threw a packet of paperwork into the car that hit her in the face, scratching her. The papers flew all over the inside of the car and Bizousky walked away.

Happel then arrested Bizousky on charges of simple assault, obstructing the administration of law or other governmental functions, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of 10 percent of $10,000 bail.
