Bangor Area High School head Field Hockey coach Carol Alfred officially resigned from her position Tuesday, after 14 seasons. In her fourteen years coaching the Slaters, Alfred earned a Colonial League championship in 2010 and was a yearly participant in the District 11 playoffs.
She also received her 100th victory as a head coach this season and was named the Colonial League Coach of the Year for the past three years.
