ALLENTOWN SCHOOL DISTRICT needs volunteers for its "Start Your Day Right" Before School Program at elementary schools, 7:15-9 a.m. Monday through Friday. Training provided. CITY OF ALLENTOWN/BUREAU OF HEALTH needs two volunteers to serve as coaches to team teach an eight-week course geared for seniors regarding prevention of falls. Eight hours of training and instruction materials will be provided. Instruction includes fall prevention and low impact exercises. DOWNTOWN BETHLEHEM ASSOCIATION needs volunteers for its Christmas City Village, an outdoor market. Village ambassadors and hut volunteers are needed to greet visitors, hand out information, assist vendors and to sell calendars and other merchandise. Entertainment groups are also needed. Minimum age: 18. Times: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays, Nov. 25 through and including Dec. 24. XFBI FAMILY CONNECTION OF EASTON is looking for a volunteer to translate brochures, handbooks and fliers from English to Spanish. Work is available year-round and can be done in our office or volunteer's home through e-mail. Orientation and training provided. Current criminal and child abuse background check required. GIRL SCOUTS OF EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA needs troop leaders to to help girls get exposed to new experiences through field trips and to help them earn badges. Meeting times are flexible. SACRED HEART HOSPITAL, Allentown seeks volunteers to work in its Gift Shop to assist customers, stock shelves and manage sales. Learn shop management. THE COCO FOUNDATION whose mission is to raise funds for pediatric cancer and help families going through cancer-related illness is seeking volunteers for its children's education and community programs.
