Somebody Do Something: A family-friendly spot in Bushkill Township that's lost its swing

FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES

In its heyday, the miniature golf course and ice cream shop at Jacobsburg and Henry roads in Bushkill Township was crawling with families eager to conquer the course, including the hole with the spinning windmill, and then celebrate with a frosty treat.
But these days the former Mountainview mini-golf is crawling with weeds, rundown attractions and debris.

It's the focus of this week's Somebody Do Something.

Did you frequent this business when it was thriving? What would you like to see take its place? Do you think the Bushkill Township Board of Supervisors or any other elected officials should play a role in trying to generate interest in the property?

Tell us what you think by posting your comments below.

Somebody Do Something is a regular feature of lehighvalleylive.com that showcases rundown properties, confusing traffic signals or other problems in the Lehigh Valley and northwest New Jersey. The goal is to generate public discussion and, hopefully, action to fix the problems.
