Northwestern University quarterback Dan Persa, a senior from Liberty High School, was an honorable mention selection at quarterback on the All-Big Ten Conference football team announced today.
Russell Wilson of Wisconsin was the first team pick at quarterback and Kirk Cousins of Michigan State was the second team selection.
Persa missed three games while recuperating from an Achilles tendon injury.
In nine games, he completed 193 of 260 passes for 2163 yards, 17 touchdowns with seven interceptions.
