FROM KEITH GROLLER

3:20 p.m.

After so many offensive spectaculars this season, Lehigh's defense has carried the day today. 1:18 left to play and Lehigh holding on 14-7.

3:14 p.m.

Tim Divers just missed a 23-yard field goal that could have put the game away. Unbelievable.

3:06 p.m.

Lehigh defense has been superb in the second half, but must get another stop. Holy Cross with the ball at its own 35 with 5:26 left in regulation.

2:55 p.m.

Fitz's second TD run of the day gives Lehigh its first lead of the day.

2:43 p.m.

The third quarter is over, and we're tied at 7. Lehigh's second straight Patriot League title may be earned or lost over the next 15 minutes.

2:35 p.m

Matt Fitz's 3-yard TD run and PAT kick by Divers ties the game, 7-7, 3:03 left in the third.

2:30 p.m.

An interception gave Holy Cross momentum, but the Crusaders had a 41-yard FG attempt hit the crossbar. Now Lehigh with the ball approaching midfield and Lum just found Jake Drwal for 23 yards to the Holy Cross 31.

2:16 p.m,

Lehigh is back in Holy Cross territory on its first possession of the second half. Zach Barket having another good day running the ball.

A 14-yard run on a reverse by Ryan Spadola has Lehigh in Holy Cross territory for the first time in this game. Final minute of the first quarter.

1:10 p.m.

Lengthy delay here at Lehigh as Mountain Hawks cornerback Gabe Johnson appears to have suffered a major leg injury.

12:59 p.m.

Three possessions and very little offense for Lehigh. Holy Cross has the ball back and this is shaping up to be the complete struggle a lot of people thought it would be.

12:51 p.m.

Holy Cross defense turns away Lehigh again and Crusaders have the ball back. This one looks like a real struggle for the Lehigh offense compared to most weeks. Holy Cross plays good defense and has a head coach in Tom Gilmore who knows Lehigh offensive coordinator Dave Cecchini as well as anybody.

12:44 p.m.

Holy Cross couldn't convert the Lehigh turnover into points. Crusaders forced to punt and Lehigh will get ball back at its own 0.

12:40 p.m.

Beautiful day at Goodman Stadium, but a not so pretty start for No. 7 ranked Lehigh.

After a beautiful catch by Ryan Spadola secured a first down for the Mountain Hawks, Chris Lum was intercepted by Ricky Otis.and Holy Cross has the ball at the Lehgih 42.
